Hot and Cold Salad Bowl

You know after a week, holiday or weekend of non stop eating and you are really hungry but you don’t want to over do it, a salad bowl is the answer! For me, the mixture of hot and cold makes me feel like I’ve had a satisfying meal not just a simple salad. For this, the best option to do in my opinion is to open your fridge and search for any fruit or veg you fancy! (I have recently become obsessssed with fruit in my salad, I am a lover of a sweet and salty taste)

The ingredients I used: 

200g of Frozen spinach

1/2 of an Avocado

1 carrot

1/2 of a yellow pepper

4 Cherry Tomatoes

1 small Endive

1/2 of a Tangerine

For the dressing: 

1 tbsp of rice vinegar

1 tbsp of soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp honey

1 tsp chilli flakes

Procedure:

In a pot warm up the frozen spinach, season with a little sea salt and pepper.

Chop up the fruit and vegetables to desired size.

Place the spinach on the bottom of the bowl or plate, and decorate with the fruit and veg on top.

For the dressing mix all the ingredients together, stir well and drizzle on the top!

Voila! A delicious and feel good salad!
